Re-Membering
It is a redemptive quality to leave behind the practices that feel unsustainable, overly commercialized and ultimately joyless.
The return to self is a brave undertaking. It is courageous to consider that while continuing to grow is a good thing, you DO in fact already have what you need within you. We know this, most of us, but a reminder is always advantageous as we embark on new beginnings.
Our desire for everyone is one of re-membering. Though it will take time. Restoration of our inherent wisdom and of our genuine intuition takes a retreat. When we begin to reconnect, these truths support us in our dedication to trusting ourselves.
It starts with us. We have to come first in all of this. There is a myth that we should always be looking outward, serving outward, all of which is a lovely undertaking, but if we’ve yet to put ourselves first, to delve inward, we will be disconnected from the outcomes of our work in the world.
It’s likely you already have in mind things you wanted to change about how you show up in the world, and we’re not saying don’t. What we’re suggesting now is to think on those things in this moment and ask yourself: Can you still love yourself as is, right here, right now.
“Can I love myself as I already am.”
